If i have that amount of money,..

For the past few days,i've been busy filling papers after papers

and writing 2 essays using all my knowledge of Japanese

that i've learned for the past 4years plus. 

for the sake of scholarship ><

i have to say, the amount is very attempting:120,000yen per month!!

and i have to say again, with this amount of money i can quit my part time anytime

and i would willingly do nothing but burying myself with books, books an more books ><

But, I can't get excited yet since it's gonna be competitive considering the amount

and the limited 'seats'.

How I wish i had study harder during my high school days

but it's too late to get all upset and regret over it.

Besides, everyone deserves a second chance, rite?

So, wish me LUCK ^^

moving on to something 'light'

I was in the convenient store F.Mart paying bills

and while I was browsing through,

I found This!!!

this must be the cutest drink i found so far in Japan><

Btw, it's Strawberry Milk Tea

not too sweet with a mild strawberry taste,

definitely worth trying.

Actually, i love milk tea but what caught my attention

would be what you are looking at right now ^^

sometimes, i tend to buy things because of it's pretty packaging

especially in Japan and there are so good at this.

there is always surprise waiting ~

but i trust my instinct as well so i don't get regret for i bought ^^

Layers and layers of Pancakes that i made a while ago.

it's simple and easy and no secret at all to making a yummy pancake.

Just follow the instructions, that's all !!

Pancakes with honey or syrup is my current favorite ><

On the 2nd day of new year,

which was also a big day for us ladies

and others who are in Japan

as it was the day the bargain starts !!

besides all the sales that are going on,

one thing not be missed it's the 'Lucky Bag'

it's a bag full of clothes worth a lot but there

are selling it at really cheap and fixed price.

so it can be both exciting and disappointing at the same time

as it all comes down to your luck ><

I lost count of how many bags we bought

but gladly, everything fitted in the car just fine ><

my 1st bag: all of these items for the price of 5250yen!!

if i sum up everything for the original price, it would have worth at least triple of it!!

2nd bag: basically I love everything that's coming from this bag so no complain at all

there was a piece of cloth, well i think it's more of a dress

but we had a really hard time figuring out how to put it on.

the guys were being helpful as well, showing their sense of fashion.

last but not least, the aftermath ><

my dear friend here C.Y. had been driving us all day since 9am,

helping us with our bags, being very patient with us-the ladies ><

i even remembered on the day before, he said he won't be fetching us there,

i started throwing tantrums and it must had the scared the hell out of him 

and the whole table as well ><

I was just trying to fool around.

 well, maybe i was being a bit over reacting ..

And actually this was the 2nd time in a row that he drove us all the way to town

 but i guess we won't getting our 3rd time ><

On the first day of New Year, we went for 'purikura' !!

it was fun but kelam kabut and we were really panicking,

thinking on the next pose and position,

without much time to think or act.

But i guess this is the excitement of taking 'purikura' ^^

HAPPY NEW YEAR !!

btw, this is my new schedule book for the year 

and the 2nd one from the same series.

I love these cute characters so so much.

I can never get bored staring at them for hours ^^

First update of the year.

Just came back from a friend's place,

feeling all tired but in a good mood at the same time 

cos i had a great new year and 

hopefully the rest of 2009 will be a good one as well.

Have to head to bed now

but more updates to come when i got all the pictures in hand.

shock ! speechless !!

Today would have to be one of worst Christmas ever.

I had an 8 hour shift today and I'm already expecting 

it's gonna be a long and tough day 

But i wasn't expecting any of this. 

My boss told us that the Mos Burger store is CLOSING Soon !! ><

the news came out so sudden and tears starts rolling in my eyes

and  the rest of the story was a blur to me.

I tried to hide my tears but eventually it was too late.

I just started to cry.

On that moment, i just realized that this place that i had work for than 18months

means so much to me and i'm so not ready to leave yet.

I was planning to work till graduate and i can't imagine

working in any other place cos i honestly really Like my job !!

And i like the people that i'm working with.

Including the sometimes stingy boss and 

the store manager who forgot to let me have my break .

I really did enjoy every single moment of it.

even with the ups and downs and all the mistakes i made.

I just felt that i've learned so much .

I learned how to make my first burger which i'm really proud of

and i wanna be even better in making it ><

There are just so much more that i know i can learn from there.

Honestly i did thought of quitting this job during a few moments

because i thought i can never be good at it and 

bringing no goods to the table but trouble.

But i made it through all thanks to the people that i'm working with.

Their kindness, friendliness are just priceless.

So, a month from now, i'll be saying my goodbyes to the place

that i had spent my time most besides home and school.

And i'll have to start my job hunting before going jobless.

Before 2008 ends...

I just wanna lay down, relax and watch TV for the rest of my holidays

but sadly, in reality i'm not allow to

cos there is so many unfinished assignment laying on my desk

and i have to get butt up early in the morning tomorrow 

for 8 hours straight of work ><

And definitely it's gonna be a busy busy day >0<

But there is always something to look forward to

after all the hard work ^^

Can't wait for the gathering of the year ^3^

with lots of chit-chatting, laughter, drinking....

oh my, i looked so freakin' tired in this pic.

found a store selling really interesting and reasonable used clothes

me and my girls had so much fun looking through it cos the wardrobe is something that we

don't usually find in other stores and in fact, some clothes look like they just got out of my

grandma's closet. still i got myself a few piece that would be interesting for a new look^^

we had okonomiyaki a.k.a Japanese pizza with friends who 

just flew down to Japan last week.
